Healing Place School of Ministry is designed to equip people to carry out the will of God through the local church. Interns will learn what Jesus-style leadership is all about while solidifying a strong Biblical foundation. They will also explore their life's calling while acquiring practical ministry skills. Healing Place School of Ministry is a ministry experience that provides interns the credibility of an accredited religious degree in an environment where application occurs simultaneously.
Our teachers are educated and also have years of experience all around the world and in many ministry settings. Interns also have access to guest speakers from around the world on a weekly basis who are known for integrity, wisdom and longevity in ministry. Our interns have the opportunity to serve in diverse ministry settings through Healing Place Church's eleven campuses world-wide. All of these experiences make Healing Place School of Ministry an opportunity of a lifetime that reaches to the ends of the earth.
The mission of Healing Place School of Ministry is to develop Christian leaders with a passion to: REACH out to the hurting around the world, SERVE others with no strings attached, GIVE unselfishly as stewards of God's resources, and BUILD the Kingdom of God by investing in the future generations. Healing Place School of Ministry aims to push individuals to live a life of significance, equipping them to bring the healing truth of Jesus Christ to a hurting world.
Out of a heart to see people live a life of significance and a desire to equip them to bring the healing truth of Jesus Christ to a hurting world, lead pastors Dino and DeLynn Rizzo, along with other Healing Place Church staff and advisors, birthed what is now called Healing Place School of Ministry, in August of 2003. With the overtone of reaching, serving, giving, and building, Healing Place School of Ministry continually morphs and expands to provide quality environments and opportunities for individuals to truly be a healing place for a hurting world through the local church setting.
In August 2003, the vision of Healing Place School of Ministry began with classes offered in the evening and ministry internship opportunities throughout the week. These classes and opportunities were and still are optimum for a variety of life stages: stay-at-home moms, business professionals, college interns, and those looking to step into full-time vocational ministry.
Through God's direction to expand discipleship opportunities, Healing Place School of Ministry introduced its full-time option in August of 2005.
In August 2007, more momentum was gained as Healing Place School of Ministry meshed its unique blend of hands on ministry with accredited Biblical studies and reshaped to become Healing Place School of Ministry. Now interns in both full-time and evening options can earn an accredited Associate in Biblical Studies and a Bachelor in Applied Theology.
Since its beginning, Healing Place School of Ministry has had 125 graduates and with each year enrollment is ever increasing. Over the past 5 years, God has graced us with multiple international missions experiences, thousands of hours dedicated to the local church and outreach, hours of impactful Biblical teaching, and endless lives touched by the selfless sacrifice of every intern.
